Takes 120 seconds to Log in to a domain.

It takes about 30-120 seconds to log in to a domain. 2 independent domains are like that. It spans the 2 whole domains with a total of 117 user computers. Windows 2000 Professional domain log in is normal

It displays applying your profiles

Profile is whether local or roaming

But for local computer accounts, the log in is immediate

What are the issues? DNS setting in client? Host file (we don't have any)? Domain DNS server

Where are the domain controllers located in relation to the workstations?
How many domain controllers do you have, and what other services are they
running?
