the problem started when i downloaded a program that
erased duplicates because i was trying to get rid of crap
that was taking up a lot of memory. i guess i erased
some valuable information that the computer needed to get
to my desktop. so now i need to know how to get to my
desktop. or how do i take the administrator log in off.
i am asking this question because when i log in with the
administrator and password at the beginning, the prompt
says that the computer is loading my personal settings.
the computer then abruptly says that it is saving my
personal settings and goes right back to the login. it
is a continuous loop and i cant get past it to modify the
problem even with safe mode, last known configuration, or
using the windows 2000 cd to look for errors. i have
tried just about everything except rewriting the registry
keys. as you can see i need a lot of help. pleeeeaaase
help
