take ownership via batch file

Is this possible?
There are a series of directories that my predecessor set permissions
on... that he failed (intentionally or accidentally) to include SYSTEM
(anti-virus won't scan the files now due to permissions). And he used
the domain admin account, vs. the group administrators. However,
other permissions in place are correct and don't want to be changed
(IE user home directories)...

Ideas? Other than write down the perms and change them all, that is..
talking about 300-400 directories and subdirectories.
