Tagging Files

Let's say I have files in a folder that I want to refer to in a day or
so. Is there a way to "tag" them, maybe with another color or
a flag?

Create a sub-folder called (e.g.) "For Attention" and put short-cuts to
them in there? Not quite as neat as a colour or flag, but better than
nothing.
