I inharited a Access db.
With one of the tables open, I click the "+" plus sign and a pop-up of
additional rows appear.
I understand that this is what makes up that row of data, but my question is:
How can I get a complete count for that table, to include what is barried
under the + sign...

Actually, what pops up are rows linked to this record from another table..
for example, in the customer table, if you have a cutomer number linked to
an orders table, clicking the + sign next to the customer number will list
the orders for that customer.

If you want a count of customers -> you count the records in the Customer
table
If you want a count of Orders -> you count the records in the orders table
