Tabcontrol with image

at work i am having to use a lot of images in our application. I am really
a noob when it comes to using bitmap etc in my application.

So here is the question

we have a tabcontrol on which i have tab pages. On each tab i need to place
curved bitmaps and i want the square tabs (default ones) to be replaced by
the bitmap or curve with the bitmap.

Also i need to replace the borders of the the tabcontrol with a custom
borders that go with the above curved bitmaps.

Can someone point me to some code or any right direction?
