Tabbing through Form Fields

When I try to tab through the form fields in Word 2007, it creates a tab
within the field itself instead of going to the next field. What am I doing
wrong? I have looked everywhere and cannot find the answer to this question.
Any help would be appreciated.

You have used the Rich Text Content Controls from the Word 2007 developer
tab which will internally accept tabs. To tab between form fields as in
earlier versions, you need to insert instead the legacy text form fields
from the same dialog.

The help for this section is really bad. I had the same problem as Garfield.
I have created the same form four times trying to find the appropriate way
to get this to work. Thanks for the info, Graham. I was wishing I knew a
way to strangle Word.
