G Guest Feb 18, 2004 #3 Yes, I have only protected the columns on each side of the sheet. The 13 columns between these columns are unprotected Thank Dav ----- Dave Peterson wrote: ---- When I protect a worksheet, the tab key takes me to the next unlocked cell o that worksheet Do you have any unlocked cells DaveS wrote

D Dave Peterson Feb 19, 2004 #4 In xl2002, you can protect the sheet and make it so the user can't select any cells. Any chance you turned that on by mistake? (You can do it in code, too (for all versions).) If that's not it, what do you mean by: no longer works? Does that mean, it takes you someplace else (maybe tools|options|transition tab|Uncheck Transition navigation keys) But I'm pretty much out of guesses.
