I'm in need of some Word clarification.
I know that by default the Tab Key and Backspace Key will
cause the indent markers to move.
I'm familiar with turning this feature off by
Tools|Options|Edit Tab| checkbox - tabs and backspace set
left indent.
This seems to cause more problems than solve problems. I
work with beginning users and it seems that I would be
better off having this default feature turned off.
1) Is there any disadvantage to changing the default on
this option?
2) What is its real function? Again, seems to cause more
problems than it fixes.
I would like to provide my students with a good
explaination on this feature.
Any web sites or assistance to address this feature, would
be appreciated.
Thanks!
