I have been getting this message for a month or so and since it hasn't seemed
to cause any problem other than annoyance, I have just started to look into
it. Unfortunately, I haven't found much information on t.exe and I cannot
remember doing anything (like adding a new program or deleting a program)
that would have interfered with the operating system.

I have an HP laptop that runs Windows XP Home. Any help would be very much
appreciated. This would resolve a huge annoyance in my life.

I didn't find any reference to t.exe which is often a sign that it's a
malware application that generates a new name on your PC. I'd scan for and
clean malware.

If that turns up clean post back. Be sure to scan with the latest updated
definitions, in safe mode without networking, and to use more than one
application as the page suggests.
