I am trying to system restore to an earlier point than is listed. the dates
only go back two weeks and I need to go back further is this possible.

I'll assume you're referring to Windows Restore. The list of restore points
you see is what you get, so you cannot go back to a restore point that does
not exist.

In the tree on the left, open English, then open Windows. In the Windows
subcategory, find and open the subcategory for your version of Windows , and
find a group there to post in.
