Sysupd.exe error

Every time I go to shut down I get the following error
message
Sysupd.exe - DLL initializing failed
The application failed to initializa because windows is
shutting down. How can I fix this
 
have you had the mydoom worm. looks like this updater is
for norton and may be damaged. you may have to uninstall
and reinstall norton. contact them for more info.
