systems 32 screen

I've only had my computer 6 wks. Everything has worked fine until this week. When I turn my computer on, instead of it booting up to my desktop, it now comes up with a blue screen which has Systems 32 at the top. In the middle, it says Hidden Files. I can click this off and continue to my desktop, but I'd like to know why this has happened and how I can get rid of it.
 
Check:
Start/Run/control folders/View/Uncheck Restore previous folder windows
at logon

I have the same problem. I too have had my computer for about 6 weeks and the system 32 folder opens under my settings only. I certainly know of no reason for it to do this, I did not even know such a folder existed. Have you had any luck solving this problem?

Pete. If you don't actually have the same problem as Doris
with a blue screen message. But instead have the well-known
problem of the System32 folder opening when you logon, see
the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article:
