Error message: missing or corrupt files for
system32/DRIVERS/pci.sys on Windows XP Pro keeps the
machine from booting up. The prompt says to hit 'r' to
try to repair. Nothing works and the machine is
completely disabled. Suggestions? If I need to re-
install the XP OS, how do I do this?

You should have your original XP CD. You should attempt to repair the
installation after booting from your original CD first. If this fails then
you can re-install.
