I have a Dell 4550 running Windows XP; generally all has
been well. However, recently when I log on, a window
pops up displaying the contents of the System32 folder.
I can X it away without problems, but it is a bit of
nuisance and may indicate other problems. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll down
to Item No. 260. In the right column, click on "System32 Folder Opens
Upon Boot". Download this repair file and then run the repair.

I tried the recommendation, but get the response "The
script cannot repair your issue. The expected Registary
value was not found." What now? Thanks
