Do you have a usb modem at all because mine causes a
conflict ever since I downloaded the windows updates on
Friday

There are a bunch of worms out there that exploit security
holes in windows. Most of these cause your system to
reboot whenever you are on the internet. Update your
antivirus and do a full system scan. Also, get all the
critical updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com after
you have scanned and cleaned your system.

Does this only happen when you try to go online? If so
then its the Sasser worm. You can download the patch at
the windows update site. If your system will not stay on
long enough to do this then simply call MS at 18009365700
and let them know you have the sasser. Its a free call and
they will get your call over the the PC Safety line for
some help. Also it sometimes helps to ignor the shutdown
warning.. DO not CLICK it! just ignor it and try to make
your way to the update site for the patch. Also I think if
you go into your task manager and end the process called
AVSERVE.exe that may get you online for a little longer as
well
Best of Luck
If all else fails call Microsoft..
