When starting up Windows 2000, a windows explorer folder
windows pops up, it is the system32 folder. My PC is
really slow until the window pops up. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
