System32 folder opens on logon

On one of our XP Pro workstations, when a particular user logs on, the
System32 folder opens up into a window on the desktop. It only happens for
this one user - other users who log on to this workstation do not have a
problem. I have also seen this happen on one of our NT4 workstations. How
can we stop this from happening?
