Recently, the System32 folder has begun to open
automatically when I start windows. It is no visible in
the startup folder, or when I look through "msconfig".
I've tried doing system restore, but that is not working.
Anyone else have this problem? Where else should I look?

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
