WindowsXP Home.
My Norton antivirus found a download trojan virus in my system. At the same
time I got the virus windows system32 folder started to open automaticly
with every start up of the system.Could that be a coinsidence or not!!!
Anyway. I got rid of the virus thinking that it will prevent windows
system32 folder from opening up automaticly.
In vane. The folder continue to open up with every start up.Otherwise
evrything else is working just fine.
Any advise in this matter is highly appreciated
Thank you very much
George

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys.
