system32\bridge.dll

my dad was having a problem with his pc and spyware etc
so we installed spybot and adaware however since running
them i think that adaware has caused the following error
message to occur:

the following file cannot be found:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll

i read another group that suggested taking it from one pc
with the same OS and putting on my dads laptop however
none of my pcs have this .dll file either??
Help - getting desperate!
