system32 at start up

I have a new Dell with WinXP Media Center. Every time I
start up it loads the System32 list. Any idea why this is
happening? I click it off and everything is fine, but why
is it doing that, and can I make it stop?

download & run ewido anti-spyware, it worked for me.
