I'm getting a System Warning every 5 to 20 seconds:

Event Type: Warning

What is this, is it a significant problem and how do I stop it? A
Google search gives me lots of references but little practical help.

Have u got your anti virus up to date, and was it run
recently. Sounds as though the worms are in there.

PPPoE is the basic level protocol for handling your DSL connection - and
it is getting packets arrive which are not recognised as being for
anything on your machine. My best guess is 'crossed wires' at your ISP
so that packets intended for someone else's ISP address are being
directed to yours. I'd release the IP address, reboot and let it set up
anew. For this use the IPconfig command in All Programs - Accessories -
Command Prompt. Use
ipconfig /?
to get specs of the command
ipconfig /all
to see what devices there are and assignments
