Can anyone tell me how to turn up the syst4em volume? not the external
speakers, used for dvd's, cd's sounds, etc.. . but the internal system
speaker. . thanks in advance for any help Gene

Bring up your Volume control ( Full Mixer ). Some sound cards have
a slider for "PC Speaker" - if yours does, you can increase the gain
for the channel. You may have to click Option, "Properties" to see
all the available sliders. Many times the PC Speaker slider is not checked
and not visible in the default view.

There's usually no way to do this if it's not apparent in the Volume Control
under PC Speaker. What you get is what you get when it comes to the
internal PC speaker.
