System Tray

Where is the System Tray? I too have experienced both Word and Outlook
closing when I minimize them. I saw Brian's answer (thank you) but can't
find the System Tray. I have Microsoft Office 2003. When I follow Brian's
answer I don't get the right prompts.
 
The system tray or Notification Area is the right part of the Task Bar where
the "service" icons and time are.
