My system was slowing down considerably when using video
editing programs. Using Task Manager I found that
under 'processes' cisve.exe consumed 60-70 % of the
processor usage and system, services and svhost the rest...
As I had updated from XP Home English to Dutch, to XP Pro
Dutch, I decided to re-install. (Partitioning, formating,
etc.)
Now AGAIN the system is very slow all the time. Task
Manager reports constantly a 100% CPU-usage. Again it is
cisvc.exe using 60-70%
My notebook with XP Pro reports Explorer: 1%, Task Manager
1-2% and Not-active system processes: 97-98%
