system retore

everytime i try to retore to an earlier point it works then after i reboot a
couple of times from being done with pc for the time restore screen comes on
and tells me the restore point i did cant be restored and it goes back where
it was even the day before when i restored it it said it was successful i
dont understand why it iis doing this pleas help thnx Darryl

Here are some troubleshooting tips for System Restore in Windows XP.
Please post the event information from Event Viewer as suggested in
