System Restore

When I try to restore my OS to an earlier date I get a restoration
imcomplete. No matter what date and how far I go back I keep getting this
error message. Anybody have any clues? TIA.

Your system volume(restore) may be corrupted,to fix this
turn off system restore and reboot,then turn system
restore back on and manually create a new checkpoint.
This will restore system restore however all past
checkpoints will be lost.But hey their not working anyway.
 
Hi

Possibly better to reboot again after turning SR back on instead manually creating a new checkpoint. That way you can see if SR is working with regard to creating its own checkpoints.
