System restore

Would anyone know why there are no restore points on my computer. When i
create one it is gone by the next day. There is no virus. and computer is
running fine. tarawhitehouse

If the issue is lack of space, as suggested in the first link that SC
Tom gave, minimize the space that System Restore uses as explained here:
http://bertk.mvps.org/html/diskspace.html
And also get a larger hard drive.

If it was me, I would fix the problem instead of downloading some
third party script to do what XP should be able to do just fine by
itself. Who knows what else might be broken?

What is your XP version and Service Pack?

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free reputable
malware detection programs:

Malwarebytes (MBAM): http://malwarebytes.org/
SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

They can be uninstalled later if desired.

When you create a new RP, how do you know it got created? When do you
notice it is missing?

Does the issue present itself with any additional details?

SR will not launch
Error message when launching SR
SR launches, but no calendar
Calendar but no RPs showing
Error when selecting an RP

You know... symptoms.
