System Restore

Message: I use Win XP (32bit) , I always create restore point but after 2 or
3 days the point has been deleted, therefore I can't restore my earlier time
re. point . After windows reinstalled (without install other S. W) I want to
create restore point for long time , how to store it . Because It can be used
when truble the windows failiur . Also I tried to export windows registry but
it couldn't import because there was an error message disply .

My main problem is how to get my first window (after win installe & without
other software)

Also let me know are there some policies can b e created for above .

System Restore isn't the correct tool for what you are trying to do.
Purchase an external hard drive and imaging software such as Acronis True
Image (my preference). You will image your system and store the image on
the external hard drive. You can image the system after a fresh install
when it is set up exactly as you like it and also do incremental backups.
