System Restore

Every time I try to restore my computer, it goes through
the motion of restoring it,It goes off when it finishes
and when it comes back on, it says that it was unable to
restore to that date and to try another one. I have tried
several dates, but still get the same message.

Oddly enough I just came on this newsgroup looking for an
answer to your very question. Today, I have tried to
restore every day back for over 2 wks and got the same
response as you did. About a month ago I used the process
and it worked perfectly.

I hope someone can give us the remedy.

If these suggestions fail to work, simply disable System Restore on all
drives, reboot and reenable it. Personally, I do not rely on the System
Restore feature.
