System Restore

I am having trouble with the system restore function. I can set a restore
and use this newly created point. However, over time restore points 'look'
like they are being created, but when I try to use one, XP Home is unable to
restore from a point that has been created.

What could be corrupting my restore points?

Windows does make many automatic restore points, but you should make your own
also. Follow Bert's direction in troubleshooting.
