System Restore

I would like to know if any of you knows how to restore
my computer to the way it was when i first install
windows xp home edition. I heard that you can only
install windows xp 3 times or something like that. I have
done it 2 times already. The system restor from XP is not
working. so i just want to know if there is other way.

I heard it was 7 times,but I have a system I've restored

over 15 times,but it is partitioned on the hard drive(No
Disc).Get it by press the F10 key at start-up.If yours
came with a disc you may be on the 7 times.
