Hi Ther
I recently installed a trial program, which I decided not to use. I uninstalled it successfully but decided to restore my computer to an earlier time just to be sure. Unfortunately the System Restore keeps failing for some reason. I've tried several restore points but all with the same result. I just get the message that the restore was incomplete and no changes have been made to the system. The computer's running Ok at the moment, but I'm worried that if anything goes wrong I won't be able to restore it. Has anybody got any idea what the problem might be please
Many thanks
Regards

Your restore points might have become corrupt, in which case the thing
to do would be to turn System Restore off, reboot, turn System Restore
on, create a new restore point and check if it restores to that.

Hi Roger
Thanks for the advice. I've just tried disabling System Restore, re-booting and then enabling it again. I created a restore point and tried to restore the computer to it. Same result I'm afraid, I just get the message Restore Incomplete, no changes made etc
I've had a look at the other links that you provided and worked through the advice in them. Still no luck I'm afraid
Thanks again for taking the time to try and help me, I really appreciate it
