System resore incorrectly identifies my D: drive as the
system drive. Any thoughts on how to correct this so I
can disable it for my d: drive?

check all your physical hard drives with FDISK (press F8
when re-booting and select DOS Prompt) and see if the one
identified as drive D is marked as 'active'. if it is,
then that's why your restore is off by a drive letter.

It turns out that I don't have fdisk on my system. I've
searched my XP CD and I can't seem to find it there
either. I did check Disk Management and the C: drive is
correctly identified as "System". Any other thoughts?
Thanks.
