System restore to delete file

I used system restore to delete hurl.exe. It was the easiest way! I realise
the file is not actually deleted. If it had been malicious software, could it
wreak havoc from its now 'hidden' location?

Why would you want to delete a file using System Restore?

Pocket Killbox would have done it.

The hurl.exe file will be in any restore point that was created while the file
existed.

If the system is running fine I would suggest creating a new restore point, then
use disk cleanup to remove all restore. The newest restore point will not be
deleted during this process.
