My computer has cesed to automaticly create system check points. I have
viewed the Scheduled Tasks and the task is missing. What arguments should I
attach to the path when creating a scheduled task to cause it to create a
restore point without prompting the user. (I'm assuming ammending the path is
the way to create a restore point without user input, if there is another way
please tell me)

Hi

Is the Task Scheduler Service running? From Start>Run type

services.msc

then scroll down the list. If the Task Scheduler Service isn't running,
right click on it and select Start.

Please read the entire post before you post. I clearly stated that the
task for creating the system checkpoint is NOT present, so even if
the task shcedualer wasn't running that wouldn't be the only problem.
But yes the task schedualler is running and I'm 100% sure it's working
corectly because my antiviris still makes it's 3 times a week scan and
that is triggered by a task.

Hi

Eliminating certain options that aren't enabled/running may have helped your
problem!!
