There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.

"System Restore Problem" <System Restore
(e-mail address removed)> wrote in message
running XP Home - when I try to do a system restore, my machine goes
through the process, shuts down, restarts, then tells me that it could
not restore- to pick another restore point. This process just
continues, ever though I have allowed plenty of disk space for the
information. Would sure appreciate any help to solve this problem.
