System Restore point deletion

Hi!

Please, someone tell me how to delete some unnecessary old System Restore
Points.

I have been doing it sometimes simply deleting some RP entry inside the
System Volume Information, but maybe there is also some more sofisticated way
to do it, as I did note it's not too advisable to delete the last/newest one
....

By the way, how many restore Points are kept as default, and how to change
the parameter?

Best regards,

Pete;
You should not be deleting the Restore Points from the System Information
folder.
That sometimes causes problems.
Either use Disk Clean-up, More Options tab.
Or change the space allocated to System Restore:
Open System Restore
Click "System Restore Settings" on the left side.
Adjust slider as desired.

There is no default number, the space used is defaulted to 12%.
You do not need to delete Restore Points since it is already done
automatically on a First In, First Out basis.
