System Restore inop

My system (XP Home) will no longer create restore points nor can I create a
restore point . I have 62% free space and the "turn system restore off" box
is not check marked. I tried turning off sys rest then turning it back on,
but to no avail.. still inoperable... thanks for the help

Try the above KB article this should resolve the problem
