Hi All,

I am trying to restore my Win XP Pro to an earlier date,
and no matter what date I select I get the following
message "Restoration Incomplete"

Any suggestions would be great

Thanks
Anthony

Anthony;
There may be corrupted data in system Restore.
Turn off/on System Restore to delete corrupted files:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.
Click System Restore Settings on left side.
Check "Turn off System Restore", click OK, follow prompts and reboot.
This deletes ALL Restore Points including corruption.
Then go back and turn on system Restore and create a Restore Point.
Otherwise:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tr...=/technet/itcommunity/newsgroups/faqsrwxp.asp

This would delete the restore points that I need. I
really need to restore my computer back to early
October. So I really want to save those restore points.
There has to be another way.

Thanks
Anthony

Anthony;
That error message is normally indicative in corruption.
If that is the case, for all practical purposes the Restore Points are
already gone.

You may need to solve your problem another way.
