Morning all...

Any System Restore day may have a System Checkpoint or a restore point with
some programs and updates you may have installed. Such as a Windows Update
and a program like Word that has been installed.

If the SRP has multiple entries for any given day can you choose one, two
three or just any of those points on that restore day? Did I confuse the
crap out of you? I know I almost lost it then...

Or does that System Restore Point that multiple entries have to use that
whole restore point?

whew...

Dale

If you have multiple restore points in a given day, you can choose any of
them but only one at a time.

So, if you are searching for a problem install you can choose whichever you
think may be the problem... That's good... Now, what if you wanted to go
back to one "yesterday" and one particular RP five days ago? Which would be
done first?

I don't have any problems, I just like to read the NG's and it seems like a
lot of people have problems with Restore Points and that got me to thinking
about multiple RP's.

Thanks,

Dale

It doesn't matter in what order they are performed except with regard to
personal preference; one doesn't cancel the other and there is even an undo
option if you are not satisfied with the restore.

Thanks for the replies... It's interesting to find out that you don't have
to have the whole restore point, just bits and pieces.

Thanks,

Dale
