IN Win 98 under Sytem Properties you could check the
"System Resources" that were free and not being used.
Can't find it in XP, does anyone know where it is now??
thanks

Simultaneously pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete brings up your
Task Manager in Windows XP.

Watching how programs use system resources

It is not an issue as it was in 98. Not to worry about it.

If you want to see what is going on hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete, that will open task manager. Use the top tabs to view, you can also add in other columns for more information.

System resources in win 98 primarily refers to the status of two 64 Kb memory heaps. XP does not have these same worries and therefore does not provide a similar status. In w98, many people confuse system resources with RAM usage. System resources in w98 have no relation to RAM.
