System recovery

Hi,
I can login as Administrator with a set password in normal start up mode.
When I try to use the recovery method, by booting with my XP pro cd, and
pressing "R" for recovery console, it states that my Administrator password
is invalid.
Any ideas?

The password the recovery console asks for is that used in the
original installation of windows XP. If you did not install it, check
with the organization/individual who sold you XP.
It could also be that the password was left blank, in which case
pressing enter would suffice.
