Tim

My pc is normally in hibernate when I finish work, when I brought it out of
hibernation this morning i received the following message

Your pc has recovered from a serious error, do I want to send report.
Well as I have never had any feedback from MS when I have sent messages in
the past I wondered if anyone could possibly tellme what the report means/

Errror signature

BCCode: 100000ea
BCP1: 866BA7AO
BCP2: 8647E108
BCP3: F27BCCB4
BCP4: 00000001
OS VER 5_1_2600
SP: 2: 2_0
Product 768_1

Files that will be included in report

Temp\WERf506.dir00\Mini010405.01DMP
Temp\WERf506.dir00\sysdata.xml

My pc has been working better than it has ever done over the past few
months, I have all up to date anti spyware/malware antivirus, I defrag once
a fortnight I use system utilities 2004 to keep the machine in good health
what does this report mean? Is it a hardware problem?

TIA

Upgrade to the service pack for xp, or delete the file c:\hiberfil.sys after
turning off hibernation in Power Options in control panel

Thanks Mark, I didnt realise that it was such a huge file, I dont think that
there is much difference betwen a total shutdown and hibernate state anyway
so I have disabled hibernation

Thanks again for responding so quickly
