System Partition

Assume that you are mirroring your system partition: the ARC path in your boot.ini is set to
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\Windows="Windows XP" /fastdetec
If the first disk of your mirrored volume fails, what can you do to get your system up and working ASAP?
 
Perhaps if you quoted the post you are responding to we will know what the
exact same problem is. Other than that, how can we possibly help?

because I have so many important files on there I hope there's an easier way.
