System Not Booting

Don't understand. My system, when I go to restart or
start up is not booting. This is twice now. I have
installed a bunch of software, like McAfee, Norton and
some general stuff. No games, etc. I can only seemingly
get booted when inserting the installation disk. Any
ideas of what I should do or check?

I don't have a solution, only the exact same problem. Can't figure what caused it. Windows begins to boot, then a quick flash and it shuts down the computer and starts the cycle again

I'm baffled.

I'm not really a computer expert, but try entering your
bios, and re-arranging your boot sequence. It's possible
that you've done something that mixed them up.

This can be a stop code error which causes the PC to re
start. Open your system properties, advanced tab, then
click the startup and recovery settings button to un
check the box for the automatic re-start option. Then try
to reboot into safe mode and check your device drivers in
the device manager. Or try "last know good configuration"

Have you tried the safe mode options available ?

The only problem, is if I use my disk to reboot and strike
a key it will run the installation disk. How do I get
around that?

OK. Now I am stumped. I disconnected my USBAdapter (4
port) and the system boots without a disk. Anyone
experience this?
