System logs flooded and registry error reboot

Hi,

We have a server that is developing problems, and is
rebooting itself. Occasionally this is also corrupting our
email software. It has been suggested that the restart
could be the result of full sys/app logs. It is true that
our sys log is flooded by entries from Norton anti-virus.

Is there a way to stop these entries? So far, all I can do
is clear the log daily (after saving it).

Also, during one fairly serious restart, I happened to be
in the comms room as the server gave a blue screen error
of "registry error, performing memory dump" and an error
code. Our support agent says they can pinpoint the precise
problem if I can give them this error code. Is there a way
to retreive what that code was (without the problem
actually happening at a random time again)?

Thanks in advance

* Normally isn't an issue. Slightly off topic but this may be of interest.

* We don't know the answer to this one. You'll need to have a look.

* Better to ask symantec support.

* Get a copy of the memory.dmp file to them.
