System Idle Process

In the task manager the last process in the list is one called "System Idle
Process" and this is giving me a lot of problems. I play medal of honor on
line and this process kicks in when I am playing and lags me out of the
server. I cant stop this program using task manager is there any other way
to stop it please. Alan

More likely it's the indexing service thats doing it.
Admin tools>services, Disable it

Break out a dictionary and look up the word "idle," sometime. ;-}
The "System Idle Process" metric is the amount/percentage of time that
your CPU has nothing to do. A reading of 98-99% is generally
considered a good thing, and readings above 90% are normal. Think of
it like a car's engine idling in your driveway before you place the
car in gear.

You really haven't provided enough information to tell what else
might be wrong.

What do your system event logs report? What changes, if any, did
you make to the computer's hardware or software configuration
immediately prior to the onset of the problem? What specific
troubleshooting steps have you already taken, and what were the results
of each?
