'System Hangs'

My system gets hang very frequently. Can u pls suggest
what to do to get rid of this problem.
windows xp installed in sony vaio laptop,amd athlon
processor.

There is so much that can make a computer hang as you call it, would be only a big quess what it could be with information provided. Maybe spyware, virus or could be hardware or software or the operating system itself. If you ca
give more infor on what you or doing , what program or programs that is causing the "hang" we maybe able to help wit
this problem.
